FDA Announces Recall Due to Botulism Contamination Concerns

Consumers Urged to Check Product Codes and Discard Affected Products

Green Bay, WI - Snapchill LLC has voluntarily recalled all canned coffee products after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a recall notice on June 17, 2024. The recall affects hundreds of products, including popular flavors. Consumers are advised to check their coffee supply and discard any affected products immediately.

According to the FDA, the affected products were sold in a variety of metal can sizes and may have been contaminated with botulism-causing bacteria. Botulism is a serious illness that can cause paralysis and even death.

Snapchill LLC has provided a list of affected product codes on its website. Consumers who have any of the recalled products are urged to dispose of them safely and contact Snapchill for a refund or replacement.

The FDA is investigating the source of the contamination and advises consumers to avoid consuming any Snapchill canned coffee products until the investigation is complete.
